At the end of an interview, be ready to ask intentional questions that will help you evaluate the position further.

What is your favorite part about working here?
What is different about working here than anywhere else you have worked?
What are some long-term goals for this department/division/organization?
What is this organization doing to stay competitive and current?
How is the current economy impacting your business/work?
I have read about the company's founding, but can you tell me more about...?
Where do you see this organization growing in the next few years? What gets you most excited about the company's future?

Does your organization offer any formal employee training around biases, anti-racism, or general DEI?
How does your organization define diversity? What lenses of diversity has your organization made a direct commitment toward?
Has your organization made any formal commitments in support of racial equity? How does your organization center diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging?
What resources has your organization provided to its employees in support of COVID-19 and racial injustices?

What attributes does someone need to have in order to be really successful in this position?
What is the most helpful or important contribution I could make in the first 30-90 days of my employment?

Is there anything that concerns you about my background being a fit for this role?
Is there anything else I can provide you with that would be helpful?
